Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Mivora (the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Notice. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Who can use Mivora

You must be at least 13 years old to create your own account. Children under 13 may participate only as managed members added and supervised by a primary member of a family group, who is responsible for that child's use of the Service.

2. Your account

• Provide accurate information (name, email, and phone number) and keep it up to date.
• You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping your password confidential.
• We verify your email address and may verify your phone number to help secure your account.

3. Family groups and sharing

Mivora is organized around family groups. Each piece of information you add carries its own audience — you choose who can see it, per field. The person who creates a group is its primary member and may manage members, sub-groups, and minors. Transferring the primary role transfers those responsibilities.

4. Your content

You keep ownership of the content you add. You grant Mivora a limited license to store, process, and display that content solely to operate the Service and to share it with the audiences you choose. You are responsible for having the right to share content, including photos and information about other people.

5. Acceptable use

Do not use the Service to:

• break the law, infringe others' rights, or share content you do not have permission to share;
• harass, deceive, or harm others, including other members of a family group;
• attempt to access data you are not authorized to see, or disrupt the Service.

6. Communications

We send account and safety messages (such as verification codes and reminders) by email and, where you opt in, by SMS. Your consent to receive these is described in our Electronic Communications Disclosures.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or to protect the Service and its members.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is.” To the maximum extent permitted by law, Mivora disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow these limits, so they may not apply to you.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. If we make material changes, we will notify you and update the date above. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
