Electronic Communications Disclosures

Draft for review. This content establishes the page and the sign-up flow. Have it reviewed and finalized by qualified legal counsel before relying on it in production.

By creating an account, you consent to receive communications and disclosures from Mivora in electronic form. This section explains what that means and how to change your choices.

Your consent to electronic communications

You agree that we may provide account information, notices, disclosures, and other communications to you electronically — by email, by SMS text message where you provide a mobile number, and through the Service — rather than on paper. Electronic communications have the same legal effect as if provided on paper.

What we send

  • Account and security — email verification codes, password-reset codes, and sign-in alerts.
  • Service notifications — invitations, reminders, and updates relevant to your family groups.
  • Legal and policy notices — changes to these disclosures, the Terms, or the Privacy Notice.

Email and SMS

Verification and account messages are delivered by email. If you provide a mobile number and opt in, we may also send SMS text messages (for example, one-time codes). Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Consent to SMS is not a condition of using the Service.

Withdrawing consent and opting out

  • For SMS, reply STOP to opt out of texts, or HELP for help.
  • You may adjust notification preferences in your account settings.
  • You may withdraw consent to receive communications electronically by contacting support@familyshare.app; note that some account and security messages are essential to operating your account, and withdrawing consent for those may mean we can no longer provide the Service.

Keeping your contact details current

Keep your email address and phone number accurate and up to date in your profile so you continue to receive communications. Tell us promptly if they change.

Hardware and software you need

To receive and retain electronic communications you need a device with internet access, a current web browser, a valid email account, and — for SMS — a mobile phone able to receive text messages. To keep copies, you need the ability to download or print pages from the Service or your email.

Paper copies

You may request a paper copy of a specific disclosure by contacting support@familyshare.app. We may charge a reasonable fee for paper copies where permitted by law.
